Start with one business task
Choose an assessable task before selecting sources and connections.
1 · Define the task
Define the task, its business owner, acceptance criteria and permitted scope. Start with synthetic data; do not enter customer information into the interactive demos.
2 · Prepare context
List databases, documents, authoritative sources, definitions and update times. Do not equate production completion, dispatch and customer acceptance without confirmation.
3 · Connect and validate
Configure the product instance, client, identity mapping and network path in your controlled environment, then complete the first task with the permissions it needs. Keep production credentials in controlled connection settings, away from public demos and community posts.
