# DataFocus — product and usage guide

DataFocus OT Flash uses Apache Doris. DataFocus OT Heavy uses Hadoop, Hive, Trino and Iceberg, with ETL and AutoML. Both editions include ontology management and offer free self-hosted distribution. Choose the edition that fits your workload and follow its installation guide and included terms. GitHub download links are provided by [the download catalog](releases.json), also used by the download page. Downloads require no website account or payment. For cloud service, use the cloud page to enter the console for registration, purchase, activation and renewal. Consult the console for plans, prices and available versions.

Interactive demos use simulated data in your browser. To connect an agent to your own DataFocus environment, confirm product and client versions, obtain the instance's connection address and tool schema, and configure the required permissions. Keep production credentials in controlled connection settings.

## Business case packages

Choose a case from the [case library](/en/cases) for your industry or task. The [case catalog](case-packages/catalog.json) lists 41 individual cases, with 41 package downloads. Each ZIP contains one case to import into your own DataFocus environment. Check the case's compatible product versions and follow the [import guide](/en/cases/import). Bilingual briefs are available at machine/{zh|en}/cases/{caseId}.md; package data and built-in guides are Chinese. The examples use simulated business data.

The user manual documents OT Flash r57; the Agent/MCP manual documents OT Flash r56 in 24 locales, and its non-Chinese editions await native-language editorial review. Neither asserts that another edition or deployment behaves the same way.
