Choosing and deploying

  • Refer to the selected edition’s included documentation for its license, service scope and node definitions
  • Choose data-processing and modelling capabilities for your workload
  • Plan how data reaches Doris and how often it is refreshed
  • Before migrating, confirm target versions, source mappings and ontology export scope
  • Plan the system and resources around data volume, concurrency and model requirements

To be clear

What is free, and what is not.

  • Two editions, both free to self-hostFlash and Heavy distinguish data foundations. Free self-hosted software remains closed source; the release links below show which installation packages are available.
  • Free software is not free operationWhen self-hosting, servers, model usage, third-party APIs and operation still have costs. No model plan is required to download the software.
  • Need deployment help?Contact support to discuss your environment and requirements if you need a hosted deployment or technical help.
  • Downloading and licensing remain separateGitHub downloads do not depend on an account, payment or activation service status. Installed products still follow their release terms and License V2; cloud service retains its existing plans and authorization flow.

Start with one domain: data, documents, an owner and a result someone can accept.
